Core Course

Core course consists of literary theory, literature, language, film studies, women’s writing, writing for media, academic writing and research methodology, translation studies and linguistics.

Common Course

It is offered to all degree students of the I st and II nd year of all streams. The course consists of six papers for the arts and science streams. The Commerce and BBA stream has four papers.

Open Course

This course aims to familiarize the students with the language items required to take competitive examinations at various levels. The course is offered to students of all other departments, except English.
