All able bodied and interested students may enroll themselves in N.C.C. The objects of N.C.C. training are the improvement of mental alacrity, cultivating a sense of discipline and responsibility, development of personality, aptitude for leadership and inculcation of the principles and practice of military service.
Attendance is compulsory at parades on the days fixed. Normally parades will be held on holidays and will not interfere with the academic work.
An N.C.C. cadet with 75% or more attendance in N.C.C. activities for two academic years will be eligible for concession of marks in the qualifying examination for the purpose of admission to higher studies.
Opportunities are provided for outstanding cadets to participate in the following:-
NCC (Boys) and NCC (Girls) are functioning in the college.
The primary objective of N.S.S. is education through community service. Community activities such as construction of village roads, sanitary works, imparting education on health, communicable diseases, agriculture, pest and plant diseases etc. are taken up by the N.S.S. volunteers. The National Adult Education Programme (NAEP) is also taken up by the N.S.S. There are two N.S.S. units in the college. Membership is open to all men and women students.
