PROGRAMMES CONDUCTED BY THE IQAC

• Earth is our friend, not our enemy.
  

  ‘Save Energy Save the Earth Programme ’ was conducted by the IQAC on 14-10-2014. Madayi Electricity Sub Division Officer Sri Pradeep Kumar presented an inspiring and informative class on the theme to save the Earth from an early Collapse.

• One-day Workshop
  

  IQAC organized a workshop to channelize and systemize efforts and measures of the college towards Academic excellence and to work out strategies to enhance quality. Members of teaching and non - teaching staff, PTA, Alumni, representatives of students` association, N. S. S, N. C. C, Clubs and Forums took part in the workshop. Dr. Philomena K. V (Member: UGC Expert committee) and Dr. K. C Muraleedharan (HOD, Department of English, Payyanur college) delivered Lectures on the topic “ Quality improvement strategies and Techniques of sustainable development”. Kannur University Registrar Dr. Balachandran Keezoth inaugurated the programme.

• Faculty Training Programme

  As part of empowering and enabling teachers the use of various machines and technology and introducing ICT in the teaching learning process IQAC conducted a Faculty Training Programme on 3-12-2014. Sri Ram Kumar ( KBS, Calicut) demonstrates the operation of LCD.

• Mock Visit

  IQAC orgainised a Mock Visit. NAAC Peer-Team Member and Director, ASC, Kerala University Pro. S.P. Sudheer participated in the mock visit .

• Class on “ Service Matters”

  IQAC conducted a Class on “ Service Matters” on 19-03-2016 for the members of Teaching ans Non- Teaching Staff. Sri. Sasidharan. Rtd. S.O, Payyannur College handled the class.
